Bikes, bikes, and more bikes!
Prior to starting my freshman year of high school, I learned about the Colorado High School Cycling League and joined my local team. Racing mountain bikes across the state every fall, I improved my skills, endurance, and leadership abilities each year. As I interacted with such an amazing community, I became certain that I wanted to ride my bike in college. The CSU cycling team has been a core part of my college experience. I've made lifelong friends, learned skills applicable to racing, training, and life, and tried every discipline available: road, mountain, cyclocross, gravel, and track. Along with traveling to races throughout the year, one of my favorite parts of the team has been acting as a ride leader for road and mountain biking. Specifically, I've led women's rides, reinforcing my belief that inclusivity is essential to promoting individual and communal success.
As I look beyond undergrad, I know that cycling will be a lifelong sport. I hope to continue pushing my limits in endurance racing and cyclocross, and expand my horizons by riding in many different states and countries. Read on to see a more detailed recap of my favorite races, rides, and experiences on the bike!

In the Zuni Mountains of Western New Mexico, I completed 6 laps of a 13 mile loop for a total of 80 miles. I finished 2nd for 18+ women in the 12 hour solo race.

2024 FoCo Fondo

FoCo Fondo is a gravel race in Fort Collins, Colorado. I trained for the 118 mile route, affectionately known as the "Quadruple Dog Dare You". Just finishing under my time goal was an accomplishment, and now I'm looking forward to more long distance races in the future!

2024 Cyclocross Season

Cyclocross may involve riding through sand and running up stairs or over barriers, often in the mud. My second season racing this discipline has resulted in category upgrades, podium spots, and lots of fun with friends.
CSU Cycling Team Camp: Tucson, AZ
Every winter break, the CSU team travels to Tucson, Arizona for warm weather riding and team bonding. The past two years I've written a recap of the trip to share with friends, family, and the Fort Collins community. Check out my article from last year below:
